Stories of the Holocaust

Description

A collection, on CD ROM/DVD, of testimonies of the holocaust by its survivors, one testimony per CD ROM, able to be run stand-alone or from within the collection. The user can select a testimony from those available or parts of testimonies through a comprehensive index of all material. The CD ROM is cross platform able to be run on both Macintosh and Windows computers. It does not require access to the Internet but can contain links to a museum's web site and to other Internet holocaust resources for further reading. Stories of the Holocaust can be used to bring survivors’ testimony to remote schools in regional Australia, the general public and to educational forums as an attractive product with wide appeal.

Benefits

  • Extends and capitalises on the investments already made in recording the testimonies of survivors
  • Enhances the value of survivors by providing access to them when they are not available in person
  • Improves capital funding through naming rights for the testimony collection and the visual history archive by providing an attractive product with wide appeal to potential investors
  • Reaches out your market - the 'Museum Without Walls'
  • Keeps the museum open for business at all times - the 24x7 museum - and thus maintains its contemporaneity in the wider community

Cost

Costs to develop your story into a CD ROM/DVD format depend on the length of the story and the amount of interactivity you want. Please contact us to discuss your story or collection and we'll quote you a price. [contact us]
